Citations and originality
Credit sources with descriptive links, publisher and source class, and verification dates where useful. Quote sparingly and distinguish quotation from project interpretation. Do not reproduce another author’s text without appropriate permission or a supported exception. Check both factual accuracy and the relevance of the cited edition.
Technical review
A review should check evidence scope, method reproducibility, terminology, alternatives, and limits on conclusions. Record who reviewed what, on which date, before claiming review. Independent replication of a storage behavior is different from an editorial reading of its report. Review dates identify documented review activity; a null date records that no independent review date is supplied.
Conflicts, sponsorship, and advertising
Disclose material financial, employment, personal, or project relationships relevant to a published claim. Vendor sources may describe their own products but must not be presented as independent validation. No sponsored editorial material, advertising, affiliate ranking, or paid detector promotion is included in this release. Policy changes include a visible effective date and explanation.
Corrections and superseded material
Date updates and preserve material changes to forensic conclusions in the correction log. Mark superseded specifications and reports clearly, with a link to the replacement where available. Keep historical versions recoverable. Cosmetic edits can be grouped in the reference changelog.
